This will require around 20 hours of your time across a 6 week period.
When you are first looking at using our services, this discussion allows us both to understand if it is the right direction to take.
Usually lasting between 30-45 minutes it gives us a good understanding of what you are looking for and what we can offer, which would then lead to a decision to partner, a referral elsewhere or a simple parting of ways if it doesn't feel right.
Upon agreeing that we can support you, we will share with you some detailed documentation for you to fill out in order for us to have a holistic view of your current situation, pain points, opportunities, gaps and areas to improve upon.
This is the most crucial part of the process and one of the only areas undertaken solely by yourself and your business - the more you put in here, the easier the process is and the better the outcomes are.
Don't worry though - we are super experienced in helping you through the process even if much of this documentation you leave blank, that's what we're her for after all!
This is where we put in our hard yards - assessing the documentation, creating a list of questions and then talking this through with you in another conversation to make sure that we fully understand everything that you have provided us with.
Post this conversation both parties should have a clear understanding of what is important to look for in a new tech provider, meaning we can go away and make sure that we get the best recommendations based on our in depth industry and technological knowledge of the market place - this is the biggest time save for you.
We come back to the table with recommendations based on all information gathered and present these back to you with the full picture of pros and cons with each recommendation.
We then work with you to pick the two or three that we all believe are the best fit to then engage with directly to understand more about the platform and service offering.
When engaging with our recommendations - we already hold relationships with each of these tech companies and will facilitate an initial discovery with each so that they can ask any questions further to the information we will provide them with, and you can get a feel for how they work as a business.
These calls are typically only 30 minutes and really help to steer the product demonstrations so that you can visualise how each vendor could support your business objectives, meaning everything is tailored to your exact needs.
This is where you can see the products in action, understand the user interface and see how they can be used to help support your business.
Often these are anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours, depending on sophistication of your use cases, and is the best opportunity for us to really understand how each platform and service could be partnered with, giving a lot of opportunities to ask many questions.
Based on these product demonstrations we would strongly advise taking only the best two fits forwards before collecting proposals. We have found that this way you are less swayed by offers and price tactics - focussing on purely the best product fit.
Of course, things can still change post this point, though it often ends up just being easier and more effective to go with the tools that tick the boxes before being swayed by what companies can throw at you to entice you into their favours.
Collating proposals from each tech partner will allow us to discuss in detail the two narrowed down suppliers in detail with reference to costs. This is an extremely important piece of the puzzle, as whilst price is not everything, getting the best possible deal puts less pressure on the output.
Tech companies structure things very differently so we will walk you through the differences of each proposal, the pros and cons of each offering, and make a recommendation based on our knowledge of the marketplace and your detailed requirements.
Ultimately the final decision is yours and at this point it would be prudent to have a preferred supplier in mind before going back to the table to negotiate.
This means that we know exactly what you are thinking and can then go back to our partners with the information they require in order to give the best possible package.
This is something that we will usually handle for you, though you are always welcome to be involved if it is of interest.
Knowing our partners well means we have access to information that can help us structure the best possible outcome in terms of final ongoing costs, deployment costs and other terms of the agreement that is being put in place.
Once a final price is given and details of implementation provided, we will sit down with you to discuss the process up to this point and give our final input on the best course of action moving forwards.
Nine times out of ten this is your preferred partner, at a price point better than you'd expect. delivered in less time than going solo - but we are always conscious things can change so will adapt if any new information comes to light
Once we are all agreed in the best course of action it is onto the formalities of paperwork and then getting the project underway. All of the support up to this point comes at no cost to your business and we are fully clear on how and where we make our money partner side.
For half our clients, this is where the project ends, though we often repeat this process again and again as the need for other tech changes across the business occurs.
The other half of our clients take up deployment support services which are detailed below.
